Heart of an Oak (U)

Main Auditorium, Wednesday 7 Aug 2024, 19:00  - ends at 20:51

Considered the king of the forest, the oak symbolizes power and longevity: it is the tallest and most majestic tree in the forests of our Northern Hemisphere. For many, it is synonymous with a hope of life for future generations.

This captivating, wordless documentary takes a 210-year-old French oak tree as it’s central character and the setting for a myriad of stories. As animals, birds, and insects make the tree their home over the course of a year, this tranquil film allows the viewer to observe their lives and reminds us of the connections we all have with nature and one another.
