Since the 1970s, English photographer Martin Parr has held up a sometimes tender, sometimes critical and always mischievous mirror to our times, forcing us to take a hard look at how consumer society has shaped our lives.
While Parr’s work is now showcased globally‚ his early photography faced challenges and criticism for seemingly trivializing the working class. In highlighting aspects of British life often overlooked, he prompted necessary discussions which provoked discomfort for some.
Discover the maverick behind some of the most iconic images of the past century on an intimate and exclusive road trip across England with the uncompromising Parr, whose subjects, frames and colours have revolutionised contemporary photography.
A staggering achievement in every conceivable way. Gorgeous, capital-C Cinema. Corbet proves himself as one of the finest talents around - Review by Hannah Strong @thethirdhan

This monumental drama from Brady Corbet (The Childhood of a Leader, Vox Lux) is an electrifying study of immigration and post-war assimilation in 20th century America, evocatively shot on 70mm film and richly drawn in a way that fully earns its expansive run time.
Premiering at the 2024 Venice Film Festival to critical acclaim, The Brutalist is already being placed in the heights of the great movie masterpieces alongside The Godfather and Citizen Kane...
Co-written by Mona Fastvold

Away, the full-length feature debut from Golden Globes winner Gints Zilbalodis, returns to cinemas in 2025.
Away is a fantasy adventure about a boy travelling across an island on a motorcycle, trying to escape a dark spirit and get back home. Along the way he makes a series of connections with different animals and reflects on the possible ways he ended up on the island. Part dream, part reality, Away explores our common, universal need to find a connection.
The re-release of Away is scheduled for 14th March and marks a timely opportunity for audiences to revisit or discover Gints Zilbalodis' visionary debut, ahead of the 21st March release of his second feature, the Golden Globes winner and BAFTA-nominated, Flow.
Away’s blend of a minimalist, dialogue-free narrative and breathtaking animation makes it a timeless experience, especially with the glowing reviews and accolades it earned during its original release in 2020.
Zilbalodis, who single-handedly created the film over three and a half years, was cited as one to watch. Film Inquiry’s Matthew Singleton said, “Zilbalodis is an animator to keep your eye on.” For Little White Lies, James Balmont wrote, “Remember the name. Gints Zilbalodis is capable of greatness.” Among many others, Away was awarded the coveted Contretemp Award for emerging talent at Annecy International Animation Film Festival, considered the most prestigious festival in the animation world. The film remains 100% certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.
The multiple award-winning UK animated short, The Lab - directed by Izzy Livesey, will be shown before the main feature. This pairing highlights the strength of emerging talent in the independent animation world.
Followed by a Live Q&A with Kim Carnie.
From the age of 16, singer Kim Carnie spent six years in a secret same-sex relationship.
In the multi award-winning film, Kim Carnie Out Loud, Kim meets other members of the LGBTQ+ community from around the world, who also hid their sexuality for a variety of reasons, from being born in a country where being gay is illegal to feeling pressure from their family or community. She also meets LGBTQ+ activists, fighting each day to make the world a better place.
Kim reflects on the internal homophobia that she felt for a long time but which has now been replaced by a deep sense of pride in her sexuality and in being in the LGBTQ+ community. Inspired by the people that she meets and some of the stories that she hears, Kim writes songs, providing a powerful conclusion to the film, as she plays the songs publicly for the first time to family, friends and some of the incredible people who appear in the film.
Kim Carnie Out Loud is both an exploration of the challenges faced by people because of their sexuality and a joyous celebration of being gay.

Iranian director Mohammad Rasoulof (There Is No Evil) delivers a confronting drama that speaks to the dividing lines in Iranian society.
Iman (Missagh Zareh) is a judge who sees the benefits for his family in his career’s rapid advancement. His student daughters (Setareh Malek and Mahsa Rostami) are suspicious of his increasing collaboration with the regime. He is warned not to confide in his wife (played by actor and anti-hijab protester Soheila Golestani) as he is encouraged to wave through death sentences without considering the evidence.
Iman’s divided loyalties are exposed when his government-issued handgun goes missing, and suspicion falls on the women in his home. What follows is a supremely dramatic wave of edge-of-the-seat revelations that mixes the domestic with the political realities of life in Iran, including footage of real-life protests.
Shot in secret and debuting at Cannes following Rasoulof fleeing Iran in fears for his safety, The Seed of the Sacred Fig lead many critics’ picks for best of the festival and is heading towards Academy Award nomination as the shortlisted German entry for Best International Feature Film following the same nomination at the Golden Globes.
“The Seed of the Sacred Fig is a political thriller, a horror movie, and an ode to that unrepentance. The boldness of Iranian girls and women is its inspiration and its essence.” – Roxana Hadadi, Vulture

The Impressionists are the most popular group in art history – millions flock every year to marvel at their masterpieces. But, to begin with, they were scorned, penniless outsiders. 1874 was the year that changed everything; the first Impressionists, “hungry for independence”, broke the mould by holding their own exhibition outside official channels. Impressionism was born and the art world was changed forever.
What led to that first groundbreaking show 150 years ago? Who were the maverick personalities that wielded their brushes in such a radical and provocative way? The spectacular Musée d’Orsay exhibition brings fresh eyes to this extraordinary tale of passion and rebellion. The story is told not by historians and curators but in the words of those who witnessed the dawn of Impressionism: the artists, press and people of Paris, 1874.
Made in close collaboration with the Musee d’Orsay and National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C.
Meet the unique personalities behind the world’s favourite art movement. See the show that changed everything on the big screen.
